CV and Interview Skills

Today's employment market is competitive. It is not just a question of what you know and what you can do - it is also a question of how you present yourself. This workshop is suitable for anyone who wishes to improve the manner in which they present themselves in the search for employment. This workshop covers how to:

  1. analyse the job advertisement and research the employer;
  2. prepare a covering letter which will improve your chance that they read your CV;
  3. prepare a CV that will convince them you can do the job so that they invite you for an interview;
  4. prepare for and perform in the interview.

Note: This workshop is based upon employment models of the UK and North America. There are national differences in legislation and style which need to be considered when applying for positions in countries other than the UK or North America.
